Beyond the Pale 2.0
Welcome to the launch of the new “Beyond the Pale“. I was really happy I found out how to import the posts from the original “blogspot” site over to the new home here at www.stevehackman.net. Although the direction of the blog is going to change a bit and focus more on themes related to Christianity, I am, admittedly, a little sentimental about the 4 years worth of posts I had wrote and was keen to have them part of the new site.
So why “beyond the pale”? In times past “the pale” was a fence marking the boundary between what was safe or controlled and what was “untamed.” For more details on the the meaning of Beyond the Pale, I encourage you to click here .
Anyhow, I want to use this site to patrol out beyond what is sometimes considered orthodox in our faith. Like a rock climber with a secure anchor I want to fasten on to Christ and Christ alone and secure in that lifeline, do a little exploring.
If you decide to come with me I can’t promise a comfortable ride…but I can promise it will be worth it.
Thanks, and welcome to the launch of Beyond the Pale 2.0

A very intriguing idea Steve. Did you get your absentee ballot yet for the November 6th election?
Looking forward to it 🙂
Glad to find you at your new digs.
Big question: Can your Detroit Tigers come back from a two-game deficit?????
