Beyond the Pale: The Podcast Has Launched
The podcast at Beyond the Pale is finally here. The plan is from this time forward Tammy and I will release an episode a week where we hope to explore issues of faith, church, life, and culture with a number of friends from around the world we have lined up to be part of the show with us.
This is going to be a show about:
- loving God
- loving people
- loving life
Which is a short way of saying we will have people join us on Beyond the Pale to discuss:
- church
- culture
- politics
- music
- film
- theology
- poetry
- wine
- literature
- justice
- freedom
- story
- comedy
- and some other things I can’t think of yet
We want the podcast to be be a pilgrimage of ideas and an exploration of what faith and life can look like if we can start dropping tribalism, arrogant certainty, and fear.
I just know for me, faith and God have become so part of the fabric of my life and interactions with others that often a Sunday service is the least “church” thing I do during a week. I know a lot of you are in a similar place so I wanted to create a podcast where we could walk this trail together. A place where we can talk shop and no one will give us any hassle.
I can promise you this…it won’t be boring! Tammy and I intend to explore ideas that, we trust, will offend and inspire you at the same time!
So buckle up…hold on tight…and let’s get this show on the road!
Start the journey here:

Steve
