Episode 016: Worship Leader 2.0 with Tom Read
Hi Pilgrim, welcome back to Beyond the Pale .
This is episode 016 and on today’s show Tammy and I got to sit down with our friend Tom Read to chat about the journey he’s been on the last few years….and its been quite a journey.
Tom grew up here in Hong Kong and Tammy and I met him when he was just a teenager attending the Saturday evening youth group we used to help out with back in the day.
Fast forward 20 years and Tom is a highly talented musician who has been both a church worship leader as well as a gifted singer songwriter.
But it hasn’t happened without challenges and that’s why we’re calling this episode “Worship Leader” 2.0 Tom has done a lot of soul searching in regards to church, worship, music, and life and I know you’ll be encouraged as he shares some of his story and reflections with you.
One of the things I’ve enjoyed in our first 16 episodes has been the honesty and transparency that our guests have shown as they’ve allowed us a birdseye view in to the joys and sorrows of their journey. Today’s episode with Tom is no exception. 🙂
Peace,
Steve
